What OverSkill is designed to do
OverSkill's public material emphasizes full-stack applications rather than isolated mockups. It describes app building that can include sign-in, databases, payments and other backend capabilities. The appeal is reducing the number of separate services a non-technical builder has to wire together.
Current pricing needs a live check
OverSkill's public pricing page currently lists Starter at $25/month with 2,500 credits, Studio at $99/month with 12,000 credits and Max at $199/month with 25,000 credits. However, an OverSkill help article crawled at the same time still describes an older Starter configuration and says Max is not yet purchasable. Because OverSkill's own pages are temporarily inconsistent, verify the live checkout before relying on any plan detail.

Credits are not one simple meter
OverSkill documentation separates AI work while building from certain work performed by a published app. It says ordinary hosting, page views, email/password sign-in and normal data reads/writes within included storage do not use credits. AI calls, messaging, some integrations and storage beyond included allowances can use credits.

Where the workflow may appeal
OverSkill is most interesting for a founder or maker who wants a substantial amount of app infrastructure handled in one environment and is comfortable budgeting around a credit system. It is less straightforward for someone whose first priority is an established Git-centric workflow; OverSkill's current pricing table labels GitHub integration as “Soon.”
Questions to answer before joining
What does your app need beyond screens? How much AI work will happen while you build? Will users trigger AI, email or integrations after launch? Do you need GitHub today? Which plan is actually available at checkout? Answering those questions turns a vague platform choice into a practical cost and workflow decision.
